daydreamdollboutique.blogspot.com is having a contest! Go there to enter, and good luck!
I've been learning about bones, and I had a science expirement today, and I thought it was interesting of how much God cares for us, and our brains. I know, I know, I should probably post this on the "Lil' Baptist" page, but I just posted on there, and I really want to tell you guys about it. So I'll just do it here. My mom helped me with this. If you want to do this, you should probably also ask an adult, unless you already are one. Lol. So, we took two eggs, symbolizing the human brain, a cup of water, symbolizing the fluid and padding of our brains, and a seal-tight container, symbolizing our skull. We put one of the eggs in the seal-tight container and I ran around the room, shaking it. Note that there was no padding or fluid around the egg/brain to protect it. When I was done, it looked somewhat like this:
It was broken up, with yolk and egg shell splattered all up inside. We washed out the container and splattered egg/brain and then put in water until it was brimmed to the top. Gently putting the other egg/brain in, we closed the container tightly(make sure it is very secure, or you'll get splashed in the eye, like what happened to me. You might even want to seal it with masking tape.) Then I ran around the kitchen again, shaking it. I even shaked it extra hard. But when I was done, it looked somewhat like this:
The egg was whole, and the water was still covering it. This really symbolizes how God takes care of us. If our brain didn't have fluid and padding around it, it would be a smooshed egg. So here's a sample prayer I said after this experiment.
Sample Prayer for this: Thank you Lord, for taking care of me, for crafting me all together and making me who I am. Without you, without my bones, i would flop around like an octopus and my brain would be a smooshed egg. I trust in you to protect me.
Bible verse to look up for the sample prayer: Isaiah 44:2

What I think of the New Doll Saige

Hi guys! Claire AGFrostedPink here! So, as all you doll lovers know, the new GOTY out is Saige. So I am going to  give you MY opinion on what I think of her! Please note that this is only my opinion on this doll. If you disagree, that is okay. I will post a Saige Poll later. So, let's start!
First is her set of Pajamas. I like the pants of these, and the slippers too, but I don't like the shirt. I personally don't LIKE long sleeves for my dolls, and I said that in a different post, but this shirt I really didn't like. I don't like the color, and hate the design on it. Plus, it all doesn't exactly match, if you ask me. I also do not think the slippers would stay on, even though they are pretty awesome! And it's too bad this outfit is only $24, because that is pretty low!
Next is the actual Saige doll, her dress, and book. So I really like the looks and features of this doll, because AG almost never comes out with a doll with red hair, blue eyes, and freckles. Really, there are probably only two, Lindsey and Mia. I was hoping this doll would be Hispanic, but I still think she is pretty cute! I also like that her hair is long. I do not like her ring because I think it is too big and bulky, and it would be hard to fit on because the dolls fingers are pretty much smooshed together. The dress is very cute though. I like the color of it, and the boots are darling!
Then there are her bag and jewelry. So i think the bag is pretty cute, I just don't think it should be red. Maybe a better color like green might look better. But the necklaces are cute, and so are the earrings. I'm not a big fan of the feather earrings, because I never liked the big fad of feathers, but I think the danglies are great. but $28 is crazy. not even the pajamas were that much! *faints.

The parade outfit is next. I don't particually like this outfit, either. The pattern on the shirt is not my style, and the boots don't exctly fit with the outfit. I would think they would be pink, like the shirt and belt and helmet. i don't really like the hats, but I'll talk about that down below. The jeans are cute though, and the belt is adorable. $20 just for the outfit really isn't that bad, also! So although this is a good price, I don't think it would be very good quality.

The helmet and sun hat. I don't really like hats for my dolls, but I get the point of making some for your doll. I like the sun hat, and I think it has pretty colors. The bead on it really brings the pink out of the outfit! I just don't like the string that goes around their neck. I know it might help keep it on, but I don't think it's very flattering or nice. The helmet is ugly! I'm sorry, but I really hate it. And $20 JUST for a pair of two hats? two words. NO. WAY. That is a crazy amount of money, and it looks like the helmet and hat would be hard to put on, also! So I think these two items really flopped.

Saige's Sparkle Dress. This is sooooo cute, I think! The outfit is hot pink(SQUEAL!) and I think the gold pixie dust gives it a great look! The boots are precious, and go soo well with the dress! The lace around the dress is a little tight, and looks like it might be hard to get on, but other than that, it looks great! But.........there is a spaghetti strap on the side with her hair over it. I think AG did that on purpose so that girls would just think it was the same sleeve on both sides, but it really isn't. I saw it in the  book, because it just came out at Target, and it's a spaghetti strap. That made me really disappointed, but other then that, it's a pretty cute outfit! I might even consider getting it(if it wasn't $30)!

The sweater outfit is after that! I have noticed most people absolutely LOVE this outfit, but I don't exactly knwo if I like it. The sandals are cute, and so are the leggings. The sweater is okay, but the shirt underneath looks good! So, this may be short what I have to say, because I don't really know what I think about it yet. But I do think that $34 for it is crazy expensive.

Next is Saige's dog. I think this dog is EXTREMELY adorable, and if I didn't already have two AG dogs, I would definitely get this! I have met dogs like this before, and they are also very sweet! The colors are nice, and I think they picked a nice color for the leash. It seems to go very well with the dog's colors! So over all, I think AG really scored big for this item, and $24 is actually a good price, because normal AG pets are only $20. So for only four dollars extra AND it's the GOTY's dog, I think this is great! I would definitely get it if I didn't already have Pepper and Coconut!

Her painting set comes next! I don't really like this item, because It would probably be too big and take up too much space. Though the pictures are cute, and actually adorable and well thought out, I don't exactly know if I would be wanting to purchase this item. $48 is a lot for it, and  I think I could make the exact same thing by myself. To make it, you could just use an easel that comes with Doll School and Doll Restaraunt, and you could make your own pictures or print them out. You can make a pastel by using cardboard and paint, and paintbrushes by coffee straws and fake fur or hair. So I will not be purchasing this item.

Saige's Horse. I don't exactly like AG horses, because I don't think they are that exciting. You can use pets a lot easier, and it seems this horse would take up a lot of room. I don't exactly like the colors of it too. It reminds me of when someone spits out an oreo. I used to have a doll horse too, and it was extremely  big and, pretty much useless, if you ask me. But the saddle is cute and so is the timer and treats. But $138 JUST for a horse, saddle, and paper treat bag and plastic timer? Three words. Way. Too. Much.

And last, is her hot air balloon. I'll start out with positives. I think the colors are nice, and the blue in it is a really nice blast of color, and the flowers are amazing! The map and camera are adorable, and so is the bag. Also, I think it is a very.......diferent idea to make a hot air balloon, because they have never made a hot air balloon for a doll before, and I think it was a great idea! Plus, the basket looks great !Now on to the negatives. Though I said I liked the features of the big balloon, it would take up TONS of room, and you wouldn't use it very much. I mean, you use doll pets on a regular basis with your dolls. But a humongous doll HOT AIR BALLOON to use? Like using a doll horse, you might use it about 10% of your doll playings. But it doesn't exactly have a point to it. The binoculars look a little bit cheepy to me, and I don't exactly like the colors of the binoculars. They also seem like they would chip easily, and break off. Plus, $150 for it, and it's probably even plastic? EXPENSIVE, DUDE!
So There you have it! Everything you need to know what I think about Saige's collection. Enjoy!
Been rocking the snow out! I went sledding with my fam yesterday. Also went and shoveled some driveways last night with neighborhood BFF! Ended up only shoveling one half of a sidewalk, and a driveway, pathway, and full sidewalk. But hey, I ended up with $9.50! Hoping to stash it away for my doll or church tithe! But I did end up with a hurt leg, so I dont' know if I can do it again today :( I have already taken about five hundred pics! But it won't be up until a lot later, I still have a lot more filming! But when I finish it, I will post a trailer! I should be down with it in at least two weeks, or three. But plz bear with me, because it is a very hard movie I have picked to act out! Oh, I never told you that! It is based on a real movie! I did change a little, but it has the same outline! Hope y'all are rockin the snow too!

You never find out how long, boring, and taking a picture of the same thing over and over again for stopmotioning is until you either do it with a friend or family member, or are outside on a Sunday before church in 15 degree weather without mittens and your hands freeze to the camera and you have to take at least 122 pics. If you didn't understand that, It means that I AM HAVING A SERIOUSLY GREAT TIME FILMING FOR THIS STOPMOTION MOVIE! Lol. Sneek Peek pics down below!

Jan 22, 2013

Well, I hope all of you had a better Martin Luther King Jr. Day then I did! I had to spend the whole day in the Dentists office! Then we went to a thrift store, and they had cool stuff there, but I could not buy anything! But at least I got a sample of pizza bread from the bread store. I have been making a new stopmotion! It's going to be a stopmotion movie. And you know what that means. No stopmotions for a while. But, i'll try to post ones that I have made a while ago. I don't know if the rest of ya have already seen them, but if you have, please just bear with me, I guess! I have only begun, because I have to take pics outside, and right now, it is actually 5 degrees outside!  But I will try to go filming later today. And by the way, I had to take 144 pics outside on Sunday for it! It was sooooooo cold! But I showed my grandparents a clip of it, and they think it's hilarious, so I hope you all think the same thing! Well, see y'all later!

Jan 19, 2013

The weather here is soooo nice! I spent the day playing with my neighborhood BFFs! We had loads of fun biking, sneaking into each other's houses, stealing snacks, looking at the water in her woods, and I spent the morning passing out flyers! Plus, I got my camera b ack! If you didn't know, I had left it at Inmotion's house on New Years, but I got it back! Toddlers and Tiara's interview up soon! :) HOpe y'all had a great time in this weather, too! Seeya!

Wow! Today was a very eventful day! So this morning I was walking my favorite dog, Bentley, when he grabbed something in his mouth that must have blown out of the trash this morning. I couldn't get it out, and I was starting to panic. It looked as hard as a rock, so I was pretty sure that he wouldn't be able to chew and swallow. Then I saw my brother coming down the road, and I called for him to come help. He jerked the leash up to make the dog spit it out, trying several times, because that is what the Obedience school had said to do. But Bentley would not drop it. Bentley is a labradoodle dog, which means they can get mean when they have something they don't want to give up. But Bentley was always really nice and sweet to me and my family, but today, he was growling as he held it in his mouth. Finally, I went to my sister and asked for help. she tried too, but it didn't do anything, so she called the owner. We didn't want to give him a treat to make him drop it,  because that would be rewarding him. So My sister brought him into his house, and thank God, he dropped it. It turned out to be a meat bone, with a little bit of meat. I would like to thank God for that, because I had prayed he would be okay and not choke. The next eventful thing, was that I was at my computer two hours ago when I suddenly saw something out of the corner of my eye. Alarmed, I turned around, afraid it was a big german shepherd or coyote(there have been sightings of coyotes and a german shepherd who tried to eat a dog lately). But I was wrong. It was a brownish grey, female dear! I was so suprised I gasped and yelped, giving a call for my mom and then covering my mouth, afraid it would hear me. But it didn't. My mom and brother came running over, and we both examined it, watching it's every move. It must have gotten hungry though, because it walked to the backyard and started eating the neighbor's grass. Then, another one came from the direction of the road! We were all so suprised! But when one of the labrador dogs, Cooper, started  barking, the deers ran into the woods, lying down. This reminded me of a time about three years ago when we saw a mother and two baby deers walking across our back yard. The babies had still had their spots! And I can only think, were those two deers the two babies we had seen about three years back? And if they were, God really does take care of our animals. God  bless y'all!

Just went to a Homeschool Spelling Bee! For the Junior bee, grades 1-3, a third grader named Charis won by the word, "Mountain". In the Senior Bee, grades 4-8(which I was in), my Brother won for the word.....I don't even know how to spell it! My BFF got second place! I got eighth, but that is pretty good, since there were 25 people in our group. There was twelve in the Junior Bee. I got out on the word, "Airborne". I accidently spelled it without the "e" on the end, even though I just KNEW I had to spell it with an "e", i decided to play it safe and didn't add it. Now I wish i had! But I still had an AWESOME time, and even made two new friends! It was great! And especially the meal afterwards, McDonalds! Hope you all had a great day too! Thanks for reading! Seeya!

Jan 12, 2013

I just had a life changing dream. Now, I know what you're thinking. Boy, another boring dream? Can't you talk about something interesting?! Well, this is a life changing DOLL dream, so please read it! So, in my dream, i was at camp swimming, yada yada yada, when all of a sudden there were steps leading down. I began to run down them, and there was the AG place, greatly big! I was so excited, and went straight to look at the JLY dolls. I picked up two, the blonde haired one with brown eyes and freckles, and the other one with tan skin and brown eyes and hair. I looked at both of them, not knowing which to get. My mom called for me to hurry up, but I still couldn't decide. Finally, I decided on the blonde haired one. But as I walked away, the other doll I had wanted changed into something horrible and I had to hide behind a coat rack. The mutinated doll began to stamp over towards me, and the doll in my arm suddenly vanished. I find this a huge impact on my decision, but I don't know what it means to tell me! Should I still get the blonde haired one with freckles, or get the one that mutinated? Hopefully, i will find out sooner or later. Hope y'all had a great week! Seeya!

Jan 10, 2013

AHH! Okay I'm sorry, but I just had a freaky dream, and I think It would make me feel better if I posted it. You don't have to read this. And don't wory, no people died in this dream.(remember! This is just a dream!) So I was at my church after service at nightime, and my Sister and i decided to sell some Christmas trees for a thousand bucks. My dad said no, but we decided it MIGHT work. So some "magically" appeared and we set them out. Someone came in and bought one for two dollars, and I went to talk with one of my Church Friends. She was being especially nice that night, and we were talking about rubber eggs whiler her brother showed off some paintings he had put on the bottom of his jeans. Then, someone couldn't get into the church. For some reason, we all just kind of stared, no one going to help her. Then, after a while, she collapsed under a box that appeared, and a bear ran up and she left. it was weird, just a bear came up and she was gone. I was freaked, i mean who wouldn't be, and I felt bad that the Woman was gone. Then another bear started shaking the door, starting to open it. I. was. Scared.to. DEATH! So I started jogging(?) to the back with my mom and we went around a table and then returned(??????). One of our older church ladies was coming out of the service room and then the doors shut and it was dark. Apparently, my friend had already left. Then my Dad couldn't lock the doors. They just weren't shutting! They finally locked though, right as ANOTHER bear came running up. By the time the bear disappeared, My Dad unlocked the doors and I ran out to my car, yelling "eeeew!" as i saw a dead possum on the side of the sidewalk. Me and my mom, dad, brother and sister all jumped into the car and then started to drive off, but my brother had forgotten. he had to get the gas bottle out in the woods.(It's getting intense now!) So he jumped out and started running. I screamed after him, and my dad yelled also, but he pulled our van around towards the woods. Then i spotted something. A computer-animated(????!) bear, sliding down a plastic slide(lol) and looking at us, her virtual cubs on the see-saws. Then, my brother came running out with the gas bottle. And the bear saw him. My brother heaved the big bottle into the trunk and then, he saw the bear, who was no more virtualized. He hurriedly shut the trunk and then jumped into the car, the bear hitting my side of the window, trying to get in, and some orange goop suddenly all over the window. My dad drove off, and as we left, we saw a man with a cowboy hat on and a whip, with his two little boys(now what kind of a father would let his two boys out with bears?! None, that's why this is a dream) and they were dancing triumphantly, heading back towards the church, and I only hoped that a bear wouldn't get them. Then I woke up. So, thank you for reading, even though this is a very weird post. But hey, I didn't know what to post about, Okay?! Lol. Bye!

My wishlist

Hi guys! It's Claire AGFrostedPink here, and I'm gonna show you my wishlist for when the upcoming AG store comes out! I will start with decorations and clothes.

So first of all is the white side table. I think this is outragiously cute, and I think the lamp and water that comes with it...even cuter! It makes me excited to know that the lamp actually works, and the tissues are darling! I also LOVE the rug, and it matches my AGFrostedPink theme, because it is pink, with a flower! I also love that little book, since I have always thought mini books....genius! the only thing, is the price. $50, is a LOT of money, and since I am going to get a doll there, by the time I get everything on this list, it will be up to like, 250 dollars! So this item is cute, but I do not know about  getting it.

Next is the AG place red shirt. I like this shirt for three reasons. One, because It is short sleeve. Okay, let me explain. I HATE long sleeve shirts. I mean for me to wear. My dolls too, but mainly, I just hate wearing tight clothes, especially legging and long sleeves. Two, It's simple. I like just simple, cute shirts for my dolls! Three, it shows that I have been to the AG store. Though I don't like it when people wear shirts all around sponsoring some big company, I actually think this is a pretty awesome shirt.

Then there is the Chocolate Glasses. When I get a doll, i think her personality is going to be smart. Not nerdy, intelligent. So I really want ther to get glasses, and the Mr. Potato Head ones I have right now, just don't work. They're too small. Plus, Since I have glasses, It would be so fabsome!

After that is the sweetheart pajamas + charm. I really like this outfit, and I have for a long time. I think it looks like something I would wear to bed, because I actually, even though a faithful Christain, I like wearing my short shorts to bed! I think the boots, are just awesome, because they look so fuzzy, and I like that it has boots with short shorts. I think the shirt is a good style and looks like good fabric, and well, IT'S PINK!!!! I also love all the hearts on the shorts, and the darling little pom-poms on the boots! I LOVE POM-POMS ON BOOTS! And I think I will use the charm and make it into a necklace for my doll. And for the ending, the price is okay. alright, enough said.
On to the dolls now. I think this doll nice, because I love her hair color with her eyes. And the freckles seem to just pull it all together. She also looks a lot like a friend of mine! The eyes have such a beautiful chocolatey brown look, and the hair looks so golden and shiny, that I just can'tresist this doll! I might get her, but since I already have two blonde-haired dolls, it's probably not such a good idea.

And last but not least, this beautiful miracle from God. I have liked this doll for a very long time, always considering getting her and wishing I already did. I love Mexico and have always wanted to go there, and I have always thought that Mexican girls are SOOO pretty! I love her tan skin and her hair color, and she still has the same chocolatey eyes as the one above. Since I already have a doll with blue eyes, and three with green, I only have one with brown, Michelle. So I think another with brown eyes would really look great. I also like her look because she looks a lot like one of my softball teamates, Calista, who, by the way, I think is gorgeous! If I get her, her personality will be smart, but not nerdy, and she will be a computer genius, and very nice! And, I would name her Maya Calista(yes, the girl who looks like this doll!) Fritzel. Well, thanks for reading this! Bye!

Jan 7, 2013

Okay, I am having some REALLY tough desicions right now. So I want to get an AG doll, because I have been wanting one for, a really long time. I thought that maybe I could get one when the AG place came out near me. BUT. AG has upped their prices five dollars for a doll, which equals to $110. That is a LOT of money just for a doll I might not even like in two years. Because that's the thing. I'm afraid that if i spend a grand total of $110 for a doll, and then I'll only play with dolls for another, maybe two years. My Dad thinks it's an outrageous price just for a doll, but my Mom says if I want to get one, I can. I just can't decide! Plus, I keep spending my money on things that I should be keeping the money for the doll! It's just WAY too hard to decide. I just do not know, and it's driving me crazy! Because I know if I don't get a doll, I will be wanting one when the AG place comes out and I'll be kicking myself like a kangaroo that I didn't save the money. AGH! Okay, I need some advice from my BFF. Gonna go skype her..............Maybe she'll have some ideas. News will be back soon!

Jan 5, 2013

Went shopping today at the mall with my family. We also went to Yutzy's Farmers Market. That place just feels like home to me. It is run by Amish Ladies, and it is filled with delicious, homemade things like Candy sticks, flour, cheese, pickles, and peanut butter. It has a little porch with lots of rocking chairs and backyard play sets, where dogs roam around. Then there is a fence filled with  And lots of fruit and vegetables. We went home with fudge, meat, cheese, pickles, cinnamon rolls, banana bread, sweet Thai rice, and salsa. We are having the sweet Thai rice and salsa with our dinner tonight at like, three o clock in the afternoon. Lol.

Hi Guys! It's Claire AgFrostedPink here, or the old MGAG. I am so excited to start this blog! Well, to start it off, here's a little  bit about me! My name is Claire, and I am a young Christian in Middle School. I like Jesus, the colors pink(duh!) and yellow, and my favorite foods are Tacos and Cheeseburgers and cupcakes. My BFF is In motion(that's her code name of course!), so I will be posting about us getting together and stuff like that, too. My favorite books are the Bible, Jess, Mia, Kanani, Nikki, and the Josephina series. I also love the my American girl books about self help! I like Volleyball, Bath and Body Works(store), and I am very excited about the American Girl store opening up near my house in the early summer this year! Oh yeah, that's another big thing. I LOVE AMERICAN GIRL DOLLS! I don't have any(yet) but I am thinking of getting one wen the Ag place comes out! I have five generation dolls from Target. Michelle and Cassidy-Grace(Cassidy-Grace is a very mini doll that looks just like Michelle), Jenna, The twins(Gretchen and Gwen), and Alyssa. I also have a bitty baby, Gigi, and one of my favorite little dolls, Candice, that i have used since i was actually about three. I have a dollhouse out of shelves for them in my closet, and I have the AG pets Coconut and Pepper. I will also be posting stop motions i have made and my opinions on the new AG outfits and dolls they come out with! More posts up soon! Thanks for Reading! Bye!

It's me!
